Infinity Fawn Scarf Review

As you may of seen on my last post, I recently got this lovely faux fawn fur infinity scarf! When my parents asked what I wanted as a graduation gift, I knew immediately ^o^ I'd had my eye on this scarf for quite a few months, but was unable to buy it (and not feel guilty for spending so much) because of the price tag of ¥6,800 (about $90). I guess graduation high school is a good enough excuse for my parents! Plus Cleveland is going to be chilly and blah blah blah I really wanted it :)

The scarf is made by Miho of the Etsy store Tokyo Forest Design. She was very kind and messaged me often to inform me of updates on my scarf. It took he about a week to make it and about two weeks to make it to my door.

The scarf is an "infinity scarf" meaning that it is one giant loop and can easily be wrapped around your head twice. It is also reversible, featuring a lovely grey-green plaid on the other side. Very Mori-girl! Actually I think it would look great on mori guys as well :)

The item(s) arrived all nicely packaged in a sturdy little box with tissue paper wrapped around the items.

 The construction of the item is beautiful and the materials are of high quality. Although I don't have a worn photo (yet) I tried it on and easily wrapped it around my neck with room to spare. Not too tight at all, I like the slightly "loose" and oversized feel of it.

Ms. Miho also included some extra goodies! A cute sweets pouch with an unusual closure (strips of snappy metal...hard to describe), her business card, a paper crane and test patches of the fabric (for washing I assume). She also included washing details about the item. and the paper bear bag she included everything is is just too cute!

Overall I am very satisfied with my purchases and can't wait to use my scarf this fall1 There are a few other items in her shop I have my eye on too ;)

ASOS

My detachable faux fur collar from ASOS.com came in today ♥ I have to say, there customer service is superb! I received several shipping update emails, it arrive very quickly, especially for international mail, was packaged well, and included all the necessary items if I needed to send it back (of course, I didn't!) Besides the awesome shipping and emails, the item is wonderful! I especially love the easy, inconspicuous closure. I think this collar due to the style and lovely honey color is going to be easy to coordinate and accessorize with little pins and other cute accents ♪ There are a couple of other items I've been considering getting, and this experience makes me want to rush and order the rest! Basically, I'm just really excited about stocking up on cold winter accessories for college~

 

Also, a quick update to my shop:

I have two findings left (after making a pair of earrings and phone strap for myself, hehe) so I can make either one pair of earrings or two phone straps. Morning Glory Haul & Review

Hello everyone, it's one of my favorite times of year ♪ my annual Morning Glory school supply haul. I already bought enough folders at a local anime convention so I mainly bought notebooks. They are currently having a 20% off sale so I took this opportunity to get all of my shopping done. I was able to buy 21 items for about $50 plus shipping. Anyways, enough jabbering and onto the review.

The invoice stated that one of the journals was out of stock and they replaced it for me.

Wheh! Congrats to anyone who finished that! Overall I am extremely happy (as normal) with Morning Glory. The package itself arrived in 5 days (they only ship within the US). Everything was much better in person than on the website. The notebooks have wonderful texture and are of high quality. I was also very satisfied with my planner. It's ridiculous the amount of time I spend looking for the perfect one and I'm glad this one worked out nicely (I saved on shipping and it was only $11, on sale). I'm also very glad I decided to buy the (slightly pricier than my other items at $4) letter pad. It's quality and designs are beautiful! I really like Morning Glory again because their motifs are usually aimed at a more natural/mori-esque aesthetic and are generally cheaper than Japanese products. These school supplies actually make me sort of excited for back to school... in the middle of summer!
