Monthly Challenge Theme: Signs of Spring

Theme: Signs of Spring
Hopefully winter is starting to pack it's bags in your corner of the woods (unless you want it to stay of course - I personally can't stand that cold)! In honor of visions of warmer weather, this month's challenge is to search for signs of spring from nature. Search for fresh sprouts, flower buds and seedlings and do something creative! If spring is no where to be found where you live, why not hurry it along? Start your own flower or small plant seedling indoor and nurture them until it gets warmer. Or perhaps plan a spring garden or sketch a vision of what you hope this coming spring will look like. It's up to you!

  1. I love winter - delicous cold cheeks which slowly warm up when you come home while drinking a steaming cup of sweet hot chocolate or tasty spiced cinnamon tea, beautiful layers of warm clothing, scarves, gloves, stoles, muffs, ear-warmers, beautiful winter boots. A silent layer of clean, white snow clearing the air and making it fresh while the whole city suddenly looks idyllic and peaceful and behind the city snow covered hills and mountains. Delicious christmas cookies, gingerbread, mulled wine or glögg, and generally an excuse to put cinnamon on everything. Unfortunately we've had föhn wind (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/F%C3%B6hn) the last two days or so, which has removed all traces of winter.

  3. How beautiful! Unfortunately, winter isn't nearly as pretty as this where I live. (v_v) Just dead grass and a frost if we're lucky.
